Master of Arts
Master of Arts in Education is commonly known as M.A Education, which is actually a post graduate course. Its duration is 2 years with 4 semesters. There will be changes regarding the duration, semester system, course plan etc. according to the institutions. This course is available in both modes, which are regular and Correspondence. This degree should be completed by a student in a maximum of 5 years and minimum of 2 years, and this duration may vary. This is actually a theoretical course which mainly focuses on basic information of theory and practice. This course contains a series of very basic subjects which is designed in such a way so as to cover all the basic areas of education and number of very advanced courses as different specialization. M.Ed. is not similar to M.A Education, even though the terminology is alike, both courses are different and each have their own requisites but the contents are almost alike. Advantages or Benefits of Doing Master of Arts in Education This course offers a wider and more inclusive understanding of education. As it is a field of knowledge. In specific aspects of education this course gives higher level of specialization. This course enables the candidate to be professionals for effectively participating in different dimensions of education. Courses like M.Phil. And Ph.D. degree programmes can be pursued by the candidates after M.A Education.
